Why is Alpha destined to Die ? (Political)

[TL;DR (9700 symbols) - E-Sim Is Dead !]

In general of course all e-sim is being kept alive because of the constant new temporary servers which are being launched every 6 months. The big three - Suna, Primera and Secura have been long dead, Alpha being the first permanent speed server had some potential to survive and become the most active server, however there are a couple of major problems which will put the last nail in the coffin for Alpha long before it reaches the 2 or even 3k + days which Secura, Suna, Primera have.

A huge number of regions per country

In the past E-Sim had something called a war module and an economy module, by making each country own 30 regions, 5 of which are High regions, both of those major modules were destined to fail and die.

Of course keeping an economy alive for a long period of time and avoiding ping-pong wars has been a problem in the big three as well. We've seen some of the most powerful economic countries of all time which developed regions that in the past were earning hundreds of gold per day, crash miserably to a point where their valuable regions were failing to earn even one gold per day.

This was caused for different reasons however, either governments without knowledge on how to operate the economy killed them or the lack of new players did.

The economy module was tightly coupled with the war module, you engaged wars in order to gain valuable regions which your country did not have. When you had managed to acquire the 3 basic regions - Grain, Iron, Diamonds, you were able to start working on attracting foreign investors by managing your taxes and your product market, you were able to attract foreign workers by managing your job market.

Alpha gives every country 5 high regions which completely kills wars caused for economic reasons, if I already have High Grain, Diamonds and Iron in my country and I can build my companies instantly why would I bother trying to conquer regions of other countries and develop them?

Staff: We can easily solve the problem of having too much high regions, countries will be still able to declare wars in order to boost their economy, we will just put a debuff based on how much active companies you have in your regions! SIMPLE!

In order to try and balance things because of the huge number of high regions, the management implemented a "debuff" based on how many active companies you have in a region, once again something completely opposite to what was done in the past.

If we take a look at Suna, Secura and Primera we can easily see that there are a couple of regions across those servers which have 1000, 2000, 3000 companies located in them.

• By having so many companies located in a single country, you had competitive markets, you had to constantly be fighting for attracting workers by creating higher and higher offers on the job markets, which in turn was creating a huge circulation of currency between the Org, the investors and the workers. You were still able to get workers for currency, you were still able to buy and sell supplies for currency.

Alpha does not give you this opportunity, by having 10 active companies of the same resource in a given region, your productivity is debuffed by 50% ! You lose 50% of your productivity !

In a country with decent number of citizens, you are always destined to produce with 50%. This made investors place their companies all around the world and use gold instead of local currencies.

Economy successfully killed !

The 30 regions per country are not a one-time killer, this problem is more of a serial killer and it continues it's killing spree by creating yet another huge issue for the war module.

Problems with ping-pong wars have been here since the beginning of time, when two major powers clash on the battlefield the chances of having some ping-pong battles has been huge in all servers even before Alpha and the temporary servers.

In the past however people were able to create strategies, people were able to bring allies in, people were able to pressure vital non-core regions owned by their enemies, people were able to turn the odds in their favor in all big wars, and by doing that even if they were not able to hold their enemies for a long time, they were able to conquer them, their were able to crush their economies, they were able to create NAPs etc. which had huge impact in some cases lasting for months.

Because of the way too high number of regions and the rounds lasting only 40 minutes, conquering your enemy becomes 100 times harder and even with 3 or 4 DoWs each big country can hold their ground for a long period of time.

Even if you somehow magically manage to conquer your enemy, holding them and forcing them to sign a NAP with your terms is almost impossible. You could go to sleep today, and wake up to see your opponent having freed 3-4 regions, you could lose your initiative and watch your enemy take 5-6-10 regions until you are able to gain it back.

By just sacrificing your sleep for 2-3 nights you can free your country, and since your regions as we saw are worth exactly 0 and you can not lose anything by losing them (except your ego), singing strategical NAPs favoring any side is pointless and no sane person would do that.

Wars nowadays are a simple tool for ranking damage, you can not gain and you can not lose anything from them.

Wars successfully killed !

Incoming Q7 Equipments

E-Sim has always had a serious issue with attracting and keeping new players, if we take a look at Suna, Secura and Primera, the last time when a new baby registered and stayed for longer than 3 minutes was probably around 2014.

This is caused first and most important because of the huge gap between an old player and a new player. When a new player goes and hits in some battle and does 314 damage with a zerk, and when he sees someone else hitting 3.4kk, his motivation is gone, and even if it isn't, after a week of not managing to boost his damage by much compared to those old players, it will be gone for sure and he will never come back to play this game. There are a couple of other reasons why new players do not stay, but since they are not for this context I will skip them.

The costs of gathering a decent Q6 set are thousands and thousands of gold, the most expensive EQ as of right now being a max/max armor costs roughly around 3 to 4k gold and unless you are a goldbuyer managing to gather that much gold is quite hard when we take into account that we just killed the Economy and War modules.

In order to get a Q7 armor, would vary from 6 to 12k gold. Risking to merge a Q7 armor could lose you thousands of hard earned gold.

What do you gain by investing so much of your time and effort in BH hunting or trading supplies in the discord channel, a quite decent upgrade on your max stats actually. With a full Q7 set (q5 miss/miss charm) you could easily have 38/0/5 - 220% max, which compared to a Q6 one is quite stronger.

However unless prices of Q6 equipments drop, not many people besides gold buyers will be able to gather Q7 sets. And now imagine when a baby comes and sees someone which is thousands of times stronger than them, would that baby stay?

Attracting and keeping new players successfully killed !

Cannibalism

I actually heard the exact name of this term from Night Hawk and it truly suits what E-Sim management has been doing since temporary servers were implemented.

E-Sim management tried to solve the issue of not attracting new citizens because of the big gap a long time ago, long before alpha actually. This was when the first temporary server was implemented.

Yes, by creating a new server you give new players a chance to develop as fast as old ones (given that those new players are instructed and given advice by the old ones). Yes, by making those servers last for X months and afterwards merging them into perm ones you give those new players the chance to create strong accounts and bring them to the permanent servers.

BUT this also causes huge side effects impacting the old permanent servers because OLD players can also merge their accounts into one, and thus you FORCE old players to play new servers if they want to be able to bring thousands of gold in equipment, you FORCE old players to play the new servers because they can bring free premium and

Yes, EVERYTHING! Because of temporary servers, the activity of the old permanent servers is being transferred into the new ones and thus Primera, Secura and Suna were successfully killed, for the same reason Alpha will follow the path of it's predecessors. The only difference is that it will happen faster.

Alpha successfully killed !

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
