I am nothing compared to you, you did very well.

In addition to being strong, you were and/or continue to be very dedicated, useful, not like me.

"Surrounded by Giants [Duna (Japan)]"

I know I am kinda late for the party (also rusty), anyways, I'll still publish this on every server... 'cause why not?

For some people it was something simple and temporary, even insignificant, for others it was something that led them to have a roller coaster of emotions for each day spent on that temporary server.
High-end players fought like never before, ranging from powerful attacks to miraculous defenses.

Several things happened, in this article we will see the final results and some other "interesting stuff" that happened in Duna from the Japanese point of view (or at least from mine).

Let's begin.

Japan in Duna.

You all might now what do people do when a new temporary server comes to life except for complaining and talking trash to admins.
They create a discord group, teamspeak, whatever they want. The japanese goverment begun like usual, we stablished our "communications" and started talking about logistics.

Players from various countries came together to make decisions and even other nations outside of Japan to get a place on the podium. Hungria, Brazil and Mexico included.

I mainly thought that we were going to play only to get equipment and gold to pass them to a permanent server. What everyone does. I thought that we were going to be left in a "Meh" position on the board and that we were only going to stay with our original regions, if possible to conquer a couple of extra regions.

Welp... I was wrong.

How the hell could I think like that?

Lutzie Komori of course was the leader behind all of this. This player right here did everything in reach to push Japan to a great success! Attacking everything that moved, or almost everything. Players, even entire nations, wanted to sabotage all this player's work for personal reasons. Lutzie never gave up, fighting 'till the end.

24/7

Nonstop.

Doing and undoing things left and right.

Food, gifts, weapons, companies, alliances, DoWs, laws, coalitions, everything since day 1.
It started with Korea, obviously there was resistance but the great administration that this leader had was enough to clean Korea completely from the map.

It was crazy, everything was happening fast. Always planning what to do next, I am still amazed at what this player did and what lutzie still does.

Holly hell, we got almost the entire Asia within days!

Powerful countries like Romania began to appear and confront us.

There were fierce and incredible battles, so much that they deserved an article.
We were both able to recognize the value of our opponent, and we were able to sign a treaty.

Time passed, we could expand ourselves to Africa too.

At this point in the server, wars of revolution and invasions were too latent and appeared in a few periods of time.

There were hundreds and hundreds of players against dozens of Japanese, not all of us had the damage and equipment to confront them, and Lutzie (incredible though it is) is human, meaning that this player couldn't always be there.

How could we defend ourselves?

KecskeShajt , Lutzie's right hand man.

He managed politics together with Lutzie, participated in countless crucial battles for Japan. Always present, he lent his time to dedicate it to the development of Japan in Duna, even sending "interesting" memes between "private Japanese chit chats".
A powerful player who has clutched so many times in so many battles. Even I could not believe what he was doing every now and then.

And, of course... he was a lewdie.

Tanya von Degurechaff, also known as Miyako or "Claudio".
He led Mexico, participating in certain crucial battles when Lutzie and all of Japan needed him, I will not forget what he did for me and for ___ that morning. I will always be grateful to him, and to Joris.

Combined forces with JePe, Saratoga (also a lewdie), Avatar the Best , Hyoudou , Alphorga , Momo, RMJ, PeppaPig , Benogabo and others, we were unstoppable.

Sheldon Cooper and Mary Cooper between other "The Big Bang Theory" players were clutch due to the fact that they were on multiple RWs on Japan, as Hungary they were crucial to our success.

As expected, in the last days that Duna had left to live ... all the countries woke up and attacked with everything.

It was impressive, you could see the mixed emotions that each player experienced in the last moments. They were fighting to die. Powerful players like FanTeZy, Howard Joel Wolowitz, were fighting like there was no tomorrow.

Millions upon millions of damage points were displayed on the markers of each round that passed in each battle that took place.
Each player left everything in the battlefields, I was nothing compared to all those players.

Yeah, it felt like I was... surrounded by giants.

At the end of the day, Japan conquered most of America and got 3rd place on the leaderboard with 100 regions in total.
Proudly, we raise the Japanese flag. Declaring our victorious presence in Duna, the nation of the rising sun was, and will be, present for everything that comes against us, without giving up!

All of this got me thinking.

My Japanese colleagues and allies accomplished incredible things in Duna, they defended the indefensible, in battles they did inexplicable damage by themselves (if accompanied by a maximum of 2 more people).
This made me wonder, what have I done for them?

In general, I have felt very good in Duna witnessing what my colleagues did.

But at the end of the server I felt empty, not because all this had ended, but because I did not feel that I have done something significant for the empire.

Sure, I was involved in battles. But I never felt that my participation was key, discouraging, or even critical.
Basically, I felt like a dead weight. I wish and I could have but above all "known" how to have supported Japan decently.

I know that I have not been well in Duna, I want to apologize to all who participated in that server in Japan. I know I haven't been helpful, I wish I could make up for it somehow.
I still have many things to learn, thanks for leaving everything on the battlefield. You guys are real war heroes, on e-sim at least.

I am nothing compared to you, you did very well.

In addition to being strong, you were and/or continue to be very dedicated, useful, not like me.

If we ever team up again in another temp. server I will do better, for you. I will outdo myself, I will reedem myself!

I promise.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
