Welcome to The Daily Economics

Day 15

First of all: thank you for the upvotes. I appreciate them.

Today's topic: Turkey's economy! I'm very excited about this one...
Question: Is the turkish economy worth the investment? Let's find out!

First, let's look at the TRY
/Gold
ratio.

The ratio (which you can get by multiplying the two numbers) is this: 1.125071

What does that mean you ask? Well, the lower this number is, the more money you can earn simply by selling TRY
for Gold
and via versa. However, if the number is higher than 1, you'll lose money.

Let's say you have 100 TRY
. You buy 8.772 Gold
from it. After this, you try to sell this gold for TRY. But you realise that now you have:

TRY

This math can be used with any currency. So remember: Multiply the two numbers. If it's under 1, you're lucky. If it's not, don't bother.

Now, that's not what I am here for. Let's look at the basic resources which can be bought on the Turkish market!

Grain has a terrible price. Using the math, 1 grain would cost 0.0168 Gold
.
There are several traders who are selling grain for the price of 0.01 Gold
. These two don't have a big difference, but when it comes to actual numbers, say 1000 units... this tiny little number jumps up to 6.8 Gold
So watch out!

Same with the iron, 1 unit would cost 0.0148 Gold
, which is still more expensive compared to some sellers whose prices starts from 0.01 Gold
/1 Iron. (Just for measure, buying 1000 iron would cost you 4.8 Gold
extra)

Not surprised by the number since Diamond has always been an expensive resource. However, I must take the comparison, and say: this is the worst deal by far. 1 Diamond would cost 0.01978 compared to some sellers whose prices start from 0.11! You would lose 8.7(!)Gold
when buying a 1000 units. What a Rip-off!
And I haven't even mentioned that this moment you can only buy 200 units - there's not more on the turkish market. My advice: buy diamonds elsewhere.

Finally! A good deal! 1 oil would cost you an amazing 0.0089 Gold
! That's cheaper than the offers on the gold market! For measures, if you buy Turkish oil, you would save 1.1 Gold
/1000 units. So go out there and buy that liquid gold!

Last but not least the Stone industry. Boy where should I begin? You see, no one is selling stone on the gold market, so I have to measure this number to the price of the Hospital and Estate.

Now that's embarassing.

The ones who started a stone producing company were either naive or didn't think through what they were doing. A little advice: just ignore the stone industry.

Aaand where are the wood prices? Well, in the time I'm writing this article, there are no wood offers on the turkish market.

Before you buy anything anywhere, always consider that a better offer can exist. Even if you save 0.1Gold
, it's still money. Don't let yourself be cheated, and remember: Money makes the world go round

If you want your country to be featured, leave a comment. If you want to hire workers and you are paying in gold, feel free to add me. Some nice words and I'll advertise your jobs.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.

Invest, produce and sell - be an entrepreneur in E-Sim.
