Habsburg-Socialist Rift
Result: The Habsburg-SB Compromise
Lasted on around early Day 1700s until Day 2143, it is one of the benchmark rifts that defined a year-long rift between the former Philippine President FranzJuniver and business giant Otto Habsburg in regards to the Philippine Economic Question.
During these times, Otto Habsburg has argued that the Philippines has no economy, if any at all because the Public Company has been invested by those from Hungary and the funds are channeled by Hungarian investors. FranzJuniver argued then that the voices of every investor does not echo Otto's arguments.
During the past few years, newspaper articles mandated by both parties came to attack each other and assess the capability of each to deliver a better economic solution not only to the Philippines or Hungary but to the world.
Public Perception:
To FranzJuniver
People are generally disregarding him as he has been self-neglecting and has been ignoring advices in regards to improving his own equipment. However, similar economic models have been applied worldwide by respective national governments. Some of them have been doing the same thing ever since already. Such economic models are imitated or partially imitated in Egypt, Germany, Venezuela, United States, Turkey and Greece.
Proponents of the economic model sees an alternative to the capitalism that the game is focused on economically (as there is no option for state to control the means of production especially after recent updates). It also is accommodating to new players, which gives them long-term opportunities to aid in betterment of their lives.
Critics say that his economic model is unaccommodating to those who are already established and very dictatorial in a way, especially when the corporation managing the Philippine economy has been declared as a state corporation. Even then, some if not most still sees the Socialist Bank as a public company and not a state corporation.
To Otto Habsburg
Being a strong economic leader who owns multiple national corporations and conglomerates, Otto Habsburg during the rift is a competitive market leader and an economic hegemon compared to the Socialist Bank, which is minuscule as an entity. Multiple mercenaries and allies have allied with him especially during the Philippine invasion of Vietnam and China, although this information cannot be directly verified.
Proponents of his methods says that an enriching and trustworthy stock company such as Habsburg Investment Fund can provide great opportunities for players to invest in and develop the market.
Critics of such methods are afraid of monopolization and lack of competition, which may not be very good for those who wish to start businesses themselves. Criticism ensued further during the taking of assets by Otto Habsburg during the absence of FranzJuniver from Socialist Bank.
Legacy of the rift
During the rift, economic activity increased and there were lots of movement economically, estimating as much as 30-50 thousand gold during the rift (which accounts only those that have directly been connected to the rift, such as wars, gold movement and purchasing of products).
In the Philippines, a new economic system was established in its market. This has provided great opportunities for foreign workers and local workers alike. It has increased the productivity to as high as 130k during the last days of August 2024. However, it also had made the Philippine economy stagnant during the sleepy months between December 2023 and April 2024.
In Hungary, because of numerous political rifts and infighting, there was no primary authority and therefore there was disunity. Otto Habsburg, who repeatedly ran for presidency was repeatedly defeated as he made both friends and enemies from both political spectrums. He however found numerous opportunities abroad that made him a considerable economic hegemon.
The rift is said to make numerous nations care more about the state welfare and the situation of their countries and has raised questions on how a nation, an economy and a business should be treated.
End of the rift
The rift ended when Otto Habsburg took all the assets of the Socialist Bank in a controversial move, which was settled by both parties in the end on which there was a general private understanding of both matters and a clear closure to the rift between Otto Habsburg and FranzJuniver.

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
