How did I find the weapons? (Economical)

Dear friends,

I want to share some experiences related with equipment with you and encourage you to do the same and share your experiences. Most of this story is related with xaria server in which I made experiments with this equipment, however all of these can be applied here. The only thing is that price of weapon is different, so profit in terms of gold is not on the same level as there, but profit in terms of supply remains the same. Most of this article is reposted from there.

My article today is going to be related with parameter that noone actively use (to my knowledge) except me (and now few others after this article in xaria):

- Increase chance to find weapon


So lets first take a look at possible stats of this parameter through quality of equipment:

Q1: 2%-2.5%
Q2: 2.5%-3%
Q3: 3%-3.5%
Q4: 3.5%-4%
Q5: 4%-4.5%
Q6: 4.5%-5%



There is cap on 40% for this stat. Some reports say that base value of this parameter is 5%, but I find it not correct. It seems that base value is actually 0%.
So, please developers either correct this, or clarify what 5% base value means on equipment page inside e-sim?


After short introduction you probably ask how this parameter work and is it really profitable in any sense?

Well - "fast" servers like xaria, nebula, luna and new permanent one alpha offer different game mechanics and certain parameters are more usefull then on the other servers. This is mostly related with eco parameter since there was really big hype about it for some time. However, first reports show that in certain cases Increase chance to find weapon parameter is more profitable!

So lets move on things and explain how it works. The name of parameter actually says it all. You fight, and while fighting you find weapon! However, after three days of using this set with full function, I have to tell few things about it which cant be found in any eq info.

- You can find only q1 weapon
- Using hit is 5x times more profitable then using berserk (because if you find wep while berserking, you find only 1, as if you would hit)
- It is not important if you use weapon or not, so basically you can find weapon by same chance fighting without weapon, using q1-q5 weapon

One more tip for developers: Please do not, probably accidentally, force players to make hits instead berserk, rather make that person who find weapon while berserking, find 5 weapons and not 1.



So, lets do short math. I have set now with 27.84% increace chance to find weapon parameter. That basically means that for every 10 minutes (when health resets) I find 2.784 of q1 weapon. But I find more! Due to some avoid stat which is 11.79% in my case, I actually have on average 113.3 health every 10 minutes, which leads me to 3.156 q1 wep found on every regen reset. If you calculate it well - most of the time q1 weapon price was 0.12g per piece - it is 0.378g per 10 minutes!

If you would use every regen health daily it would lead you to 54.53g daily! However, noone can hit every ten minutes some hits, so we came up to more realistic value (in my case of 20ish gold.

So through last three days I found aproximately 600 q1 weapons, which is around 20 gold and something daily.

I want that set now! How much I need to invest?


Items for this set are very cheap and you dont need to have high quality items for it.
Lets suppose you find q1 set (all 7 slots except LC, since only LC cant have this parameter) with double chance to find wep. Your chance to find weapon per equip would be 5.5% (on q1 item), so basically that would be that buy q1 set of these items you would have 38.5% increase chance to find weapon. Without any avoid (miss does not affect possibility to find wep), you would find 3.85 weps per 10 minutes, which would meant 554.1 daily if all regen used! Investment for this set? Not more then 30g!

Now lets discuss more serious set which would include some other parameters too. Obviously, we want to mix avoid with this parameter, so lets imagine q5 set where 5 items would be increase chance to find wep/avoid (4.25 and 5 on average) and 2 item double increase chance to find weapon, while LC can have double avoid.

This would mean that you would top your chance onto 40% of avoid and 40% of increase chance to find weapon. That would mean that you on every 10 minutes and 1 regen health find 6.66 q1 weapons, which would lead you to theoretical point of 960 weps daily. Crazy isnt it?

I want to remind you that eco/eco q3 was around 200g - while find wep/find wep q3 10g.

However investment for this kind of set would be much higher although sooner or later you would repay your set.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.


In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.


You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).


At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
