Welcome everyone, to another edition of the Continued Chronicles. The server ending of Epica has arrived, a server in which i actually played a big part of. Therefore, this time, i have a LOT of information in hand to share to everyone regarding what happened over the course of what happened.

This recap is very lengthy, so stay tight with me while i narrate everything that happened inside.

The Article was fully written on Day 119 of Epica, but has been in the plans ever since i started being active in here. All the stats and maps were taken at 23:00 of the final day, but the article was written starting at 17:00.

Let's begin.

SERVER WINNER:

France

This marks France's second server victory! the first one happening in Deriva, well over 2.5 years ago at this stage (jeez, time really goes flying!)
Aaand, you guessed it, its our third world wipe in a row lol
but hey, this one also wiped every single region on the final day too!

Updated Winner's Maps:

France now joins Russia & Serbia in the 2 wins, 1 World Wipe club.

Im just gonna say the same thing i said at the Versa Recap..

🗿 Who needs a Top 5 ranking anyway 🗿 version 2

Everyone and everything is French today.

1st -
France - 665
Noone else has regions

And thankfully, this server also has a documented full 119 days of the world! Therefore, this section returns! You can see the whole map evolution starting from first week, to the big wars, and finally everything inbetween leading to the final week.

And as always, there will be a featured slow and fast map in order to keep things in check.

Slow map:

Fast map:

So let's start quickly with the beginning, which embarassingly is the part where i know the least information of. Therefore, the first 30 or so days may contain some errors that i will most likely be wrong about. Don't hesitate me to point out any mistakes.
The beginning had only a few notable crews, some of which were recognizable right from the get go.

The France crew consisted on the Luxia project of the same name, LEGION ETRANGERE, up to face a new challenge that will eventually become their legacy on e-sim as a whole. They were met with some similar faces from the same area.

First of all, the India crew, Valhalla, was quick to showcase quick opposition to France that they even started wearing anti-France propaganda profile pictures for a time, with their intention of having the same outcome as Luxia: a wiped France. however, that's not exactly what happened. And while they tried, they weren't alone.
Another popular crew was the Poland crew, this time actually united and not spread out like in several other servers. Many of them, being very experienced in other servers in the past, were posed to be a serious threat for a while, and that's exactly what they did: Poland actually became the #1 rival to France for the server.

And France wasn't just by itself, either. 2 notable crews surfaced that will eventually form a pact, and eventually join France's World Wipe.
the first was Costa Rica, led by a group of Greeks and Serbians, the Conquerors. They had a resistance-free conquest of the American and South-East Asian continent, except with an Indian opposition for a time, and were invaluable allies to the French.
and the second was Morocco, who was quick to take regions, make sets, and immediately set to boost damage from Day 15 onward (lol), doing so for 2.5 months until France retook the World Wipe project to the full swing.

And because this server had a huge emphasis on what i did, i'll also take the liberty of narrating my own story as well. I originally had intended to constitute a plan for Mexico to maybe play a significant role in this server, but things quickly took a turn for the wicked, when several members of the team were marred with IRL issues, which pretty much meant a full 180 on whatever was planned for the time being.
The members, myself included, scattered over the world in search of new locations to call home, and that's where i decided to interact with Guardian From Hell, the original leader of France, to give me asylum in the country while i quickly set my activity in motion. That's where i also met with some new faces, including shpryv (Lola), MakiPsajko, and Eyal primarily.

The first things that happened were your typical empire stuff. However, India and Poland were quick to set an enemy in France, mostly because of similar emphasis that linked to Luxia. they planned on doing the same thing they did on the perm server: wiping a dominant France off the map.

Some people in France, that originally plead their allegiance to the Revolution, have even ditched it at the tale end of the first week. Some due to personal conflicts, others cuz of internal struggles, and some because they were outright greedy and were bitter over not winning a tournament Lucky Charm. France did have its internal struggles as well, to the point of Maki organizing a temporary rebellion owing to disputes between him and former leader Guardian from Hell, but was quickly solved with everyone reuniting for the same goal.

Those people who ditched France wound up joining Poland and co, who quickly went to war with France. however, they were VERY overwhelmed, even with help from India. this also wasn't made easier with France's allies helping against Poland and India. However, there were some days in which they gained a good upper hand that could've potentially lead to a change of tempo, especially during Resistance War Tournaments and struggles especially with a Team Tournament.
A bit of personal word, i still remember the day where we had a rough time with a RWT (around Day 25-30), especially with a strong player breathing down our neck. The pings xd, those days. i already miss em.

Anyway, even with all of that pressure, France has managed to overpower Poland and subjugate them, making it even tougher for them to break out thanks to buildings being deployed all over their core regions, owing that they opened a resist ance every free oportunity they had. India swiftly quit after losing regions, but Poland stayed strong until the new server at the time, Unica, launched. That's when they also left and marked the end of Epica's active state.

As a once-time only, ill also plug in a relevant article , written by Kim Yo Jong, that depicted well the war between Poland and France. i will also take a few memes to be showcased, mostly to narrate in a quick way, what is what exactly happened.

Start of the war:

Planning:

End Result:

The war article is written in Epica itself, so if you're reading this not in Epica, you should give it a quick read (i think you can still access articles when offline).

Regardless, with the whole war saga out of the way, let's move to the OTHER 90 days of the server.
In a more general way, it was tournaments galore and a whole lot of RW Tournaments, with a single Warzone sprinkled in. At this stage, i started taking relevance, by becoming one of the most active French players during the half-part of the server. The problem was, there wasn't any full on map changes for a long time, between Days 47 and 84. all of the main battles at that time were Resistance Wars, with the occassional normal attack sprinkled in. Hillariously, Poland managed to get itself liberated during this time.

Fast-forward to Day 84, and France has decided to speed up World Wiping, by having members of all 3 empires involved to begin a major RW wave across the world; just to France to gobble them and turn them into regions of Imperial France. But all is fine, because citizens of Costa Rica & Morocco also joined France as well, as they were also integral citizens of the newly formed World Order.

by Day 100, only a few scattered regions remain... and the entirety of Poland also remains too. However, that's where the second France - Poland war begun. Owing that it disrupted the World Wipe plans by Poland simply existing, France went on the offensive this time. However, it was met with fierce resistance, being reminiscent of the same resistance that was seen during the firrst month. they have managed to somewhat slow France down, turning an expected 3 day conquest into 11 days total, giving some of the more intense battles during the late period of this server.

And finally, let's talk about the events. There were some instances in where things simply didn't go according to plan, especially the failed 200% drop bonus which had NO BATTLES (thanks to unexpected Zombies), but the remaining battles were a success, owing to how little regions there were left at the time. All in all, a world wipe that worked really well in hindsight.

Now let's see what type of damage does this server offer for us! No way the record is beaten again this soon, hahaha..

right?..

right???

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
